When you are planning a fundraising even then choose a theme that goes along with the type of charity you are trying to raise money for. If you are trying to raise money for an animal charity then make the theme of your event centered on animals, such as dogs and cats. Too get an idea of how to organize your own fundraiser we will list ideas that go off the animal charity theme:

When you send out an invitation to guests, ask them to bring their dogs or cats. At the event make sure to provide nice looking bowls filled with dog treats, food and plenty of water, and maybe even some doody bags. Also, asking a dog or cat trainer to donate their time to attend your fundraiser is a good idea, and asking the trainer to give short talks and show attendees training tips is also a good idea. You could ask the trainer to offer on-on-one training hours as a prize for the people who attend your event.

A good conversation starter would be to serve salads or appetizers from colorful dog or cat dishes, or offer cookies that are themed around dog and cat treats, such as cupcakes with bones on the top or cookies that are shaped like dog treats.

- Guests’ gifts
- The Meal
